Anna Warnholz

Anna Warnholz is Advisor and evaluator from the German Institute of Development Evaluation (DEval). She joined the institute in 2021 and contributed to energy and climate evaluations deepening her expertise in climate governance, sustainable development, and qualitative evaluation methods. She is currently part of the Evaluation Capacity Development team at DEval and focuses on strengthening evaluation capacities in the Global South, particularly at the intersection of environmental sustainability and equity.  She is currently providing technical support for the implementation of the Footprint approach in a country-led evaluation of the National Planning Unit of Colombia.

With a background in Latin American Studies (B.A.) and Empowerment Studies (M.A.), she specialized in inequalities, empowerment, and sustainable development in the Latin American region and beyond.
